About Penny

As founder and CEO of Pyvot, Penny Popp has a vision for inclusive and meaningful training for adult learners. She has keen skills in mentoring and transferring knowledge in challenging situations. She is a trusted facilitator, Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional with over 25 years’ experience in organizations, including 15 years with the Government of Saskatchewan where she frequently led and trained technical professionals.  Penny has been professionally designing, developing, and delivering curriculum in a post-secondary environment for almost a decade.  She has mastered both in-person and virtual teaching environments with ease.

Penny is well versed in providing customized training for complex issues facing organizations and public service. Her ability to navigate complex systemic, organizational, and technical situations, has led her to being a sought-after facilitator for research, development, and delivery of programs and easy-to-understand content for adult learners.

Penny is passionate about mentoring and coaching current and future professionals and labourers through sharing her knowledge and expertise. She has developed curriculum from basic application practices for jobs and resumes, to advanced leadership and project management techniques.  She is often hired to deliver public sector projects, while simultaneously training staff on techniques for delivery of projects.  She effortlessly oversees aspects of outcomes-based curriculum, consultation with other facilitators on their material and curriculum, and understands the creation and structure of educational programs.
